TiE Mysuru Open Mic: Startup Pitches and Community Insights
Held on 9th October 2026 at The Quorum Hotel, Mysuru, TiE Mysuru Open Mic brought together four founders who presented their MVPs to the TiE Mysuru community, shared their entrepreneurial challenges, and sought practical feedback and insights.
The session featured four ventures across diverse sectors:
Karthik Bharadwaj and Sindhushree M T | Prudent Partners – An AI data and quality partner helping businesses develop and operate reliable AI solutions through data annotation, AI evaluation, and business process services.
Dr. Harsha Kumar | Dental Pro Connect – An AI-powered dental practice management platform that helps digitise patient records, track patient journeys, and streamline appointments and consultations.
Lakshmi Narayanan S | Lakshmi Eco Consultancy – An IGBC-certified organisation offering green solutions, sustainability consulting, environmental audits, and sustainable infrastructure services.
Preethi K M | KRN Cart – A hyperlocal delivery platform connecting customers with local restaurants, grocery stores, and essential services in K.R. Nagar and surrounding areas.
The event provided a platform for founders to share their progress, discuss real-world business challenges, and engage with the TiE Mysuru community. Through open conversations and constructive feedback, the session reflected TiE Mysuru’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and helping startups move forward.
TiE Mysuru Knowledge Series – Protect Your Cyberwealth
TiE Mysuru hosted a Knowledge Series session on 18th September 2026 on “Protect Your Cyberwealth”, featuring Mr. Tarun Malhotra, Cybersecurity Coach. The session saw a large gathering of TiE members and student members for a practical discussion on cybersecurity and staying protected in the age of AI-aided cyber threats.
Through live examples and demonstrations of various cybersecurity tools, the audience explored common threats, cyber frauds, security policies, and practical ways to protect themselves and their businesses. Mr. Malhotra also challenged commonly used terminology in cybersecurity, highlighting that there is no designation such as an ethical hacker and suggesting that the term hackathon should give way to a more defender-focused approach.
The session reinforced the importance of awareness and proactive defence in the digital age, giving participants practical knowledge and tools to better recognise, prevent, and respond to cyber threats. The hands-on demonstrations made the session an engaging learning experience for the audience.
TiE Women Pitchfest 2026 – Chapter Finals
TiE Mysuru’s TiE Women Pitch 2026 brought together an inspiring group of women entrepreneurs who took the stage to present innovative, market-ready ventures across Food Tech, Biotechnology, Health & Nutrition, and EdTech. The event celebrated bold ideas, scalable business models, and the entrepreneurial spirit of women founders building ventures with purpose and potential.
Ashwini Bagare of Yash Agri Foods Private Limited emerged as the Winner, recognised for her work in food processing and sustainable agri-food solutions. Sayanika Deka of Svastha Samriddhi Private Limited was named 1st Runner-Up for her clinical-protein platform, IndiMeat, while TieOppConnect Private Limited secured the 2nd Runner-Up position with its AI-enabled employability readiness and CareerTech platform.
The event was supported by an accomplished jury panel comprising Deepa Pulipati, Shubha Sanjay Urs, and Dr. Prashanth Viswanath. Following the pitches, TiE Mysuru Charter Members also committed to mentoring all participants, supporting them in scaling their operations, refining their go-to-market strategies, and preparing for subsequent funding opportunities. The Winner will go on to represent TiE Mysuru at the TiE Women Semi-Finals in Hyderabad.
The New Leadership Imperative
TiE Mysuru’s second Community Coffee Connect brought together Charter and Associate Members for an informal, focused conversation on From Using AI to Building with AI – The New Leadership Imperative.
Hosted by B N Pramodh, Charter Member, TiE Mysuru, Founder, Collaborative Intelligence Architect & AI-Native Builder, the discussion explored how AI is moving beyond being a tool to becoming a capability that businesses need to build with. Members discussed the gap between AI’s growing capabilities and our understanding of how to use them effectively, along with the importance of experimenting, building, and learning alongside teams.
The conversation covered AI in marketing and advertising, AI agents and automation, different AI models, building AI systems, and using AI for coding, including for those new to programming. The discussion also touched on approaching problems from first principles, breaking them down, and thinking about how AI can be applied to build practical solutions.
The interactive format encouraged members to share ideas, ask questions, challenge perspectives, and learn from one another, making the conversation as much about building with AI as it was about understanding its possibilities.
The session continued the purpose of Community Coffee Connect – creating intimate, member-led spaces where knowledge is shared openly, experiences are exchanged, relationships are strengthened, and every participant has a voice.
TiE Mysuru – From Mysuru to The World – The Glowtronics Story
TiE Mysuru Knowledge Series hosted an inspiring session, From Mysuru to the World: The Glowtronics Story, featuring Mr. Jagan Gupta, Managing Director of Glowtronics Pvt. Ltd. The session explored Glowtronics’ journey from its beginnings in Mysuru to becoming a globally trusted manufacturing partner, built on precision engineering, innovation, and long-term relationships.
Mr. Jagan Gupta reflected on the entrepreneurial journey that began with the establishment of Glowtronics in 1986 and shared how the company has grown into a fully homegrown, family-run enterprise serving international markets across healthcare, aerospace, and defence. The discussion also highlighted the company’s diverse capabilities, strong R&D foundation, and commitment to quality and continuous innovation.
A key takeaway was the importance of trust and relationships, with word-of-mouth emerging as one of the company’s strongest drivers of growth. Beyond business, the session also highlighted Glowtronics’ people-first philosophy and its commitment to sharing success with employees and giving back to society.
The evening concluded with an engaging fireside chat led by Mr. Sachin Bhandary, leaving attendees with valuable insights on dreaming big, embracing challenges, and building globally relevant enterprises from Mysuru.

The interactive session also highlighted how sport develops essential lifev and leadership skills that translate well beyond the field.

An insightful evening of conversations, innovation, and entrepreneurial thinking at Foodtech for Thought, hosted by TiE Mysuru in collaboration with CSIR−Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI).
The session brought together scientists, founders, industry leaders, and innovators to explore how food science, AI, biotechnology, and entrepreneurship are collectively reshaping the future of food. TiE Mysuru’s first Community Coffee Connect brought together Charter and Associate Members for an informal, focused conversation on moving beyond vanity metrics and using digital marketing to drive measurable business growth. Hosted by Adarsh Ramesh, Charter Member, TiE Mysuru, and Founder, Inside Out, the session explored the AIDA framework, customer touchpoints, analytics, and defining ROI around specific business goals.
The conversation covered a wide range of digital marketing essentials, including websites, e-commerce, Meta and Google advertising, SEO, GEO, email marketing, AI tools, automation, and data privacy. Members exchanged experiences, challenged perspectives, and explored how digital and physical marketing can work together.

NeXt Founders Ideathon Orientation
TiE Mysuru’s NeXt Founders Ideathon Orientation brought together students from leading engineering institutions across Mysuru and Mandya, introducing them to the ideathon journey and encouraging them to think boldly about solving real-world industry challenges.
TiE Mysuru members and industry leaders shared practical insights, problem statements, and perspectives that helped students look at innovation through a real-world lens. The session also gave students an opportunity to share their own ideas and explore how they could turn problems into meaningful solutions.
The energy and curiosity from the student community set the tone for an exciting ideathon ahead, marking a strong start to a journey of innovation, collaboration, and student-led problem solving.
WOMEN WHO BUILD: Stories of Grit, Purpose & Impact
TiE Mysuru brought together women entrepreneurs across generations for an evening of honest conversations on building businesses, carrying forward legacies, and creating meaningful impact. The session explored the realities of entrepreneurship, from finding clarity of purpose to navigating responsibility, leadership, and the challenges of sustaining an enterprise.
Through stories of resilience, learning, and perseverance, the conversation highlighted the many ways women entrepreneurs continue to shape Mysuru’s entrepreneurial landscape. Their journeys reflected the importance of staying grounded in purpose while adapting, learning, and growing along the way.
The evening left a simple yet powerful reminder: every entrepreneurial journey is built on grit, purpose, and the courage to keep moving forward.
FROM PITCH TO INVESTMENT: The Angel Investor-Founder Equation
TiE Mysuru’s Investor Series with Mr. Sudhanva Dhananjaya, Chairman & MD, Excelsoft Technologies Ltd., and Angel Investor at MHD Ventures LLP, offered founders an honest look at what happens between a pitch deck and a funding decision. Moderated by Mr. Adarsh Ramesh, Co-Founder, Inside Out, the session explored what investors genuinely look for, from sector focus and business clarity to long-term vision and, most importantly, founder character.
The conversation went beyond fundraising, touching on structured reporting, transparent communication, due diligence, and investor track records. Founders were encouraged to be specific and direct while pitching, and to look beyond the first cheque towards building long-term investor relationships rooted in trust, alignment, and mutual value.
An engaging Q&A brought the evening to a close, reinforcing a key takeaway: strong investor-founder partnerships are built on credibility, communication, shared long-term goals, and mutual respect.
