Masterclass on “The War Inside The Leader’s Head”

TiE Mysuru Chapter hosted a deeply transformative Masterclass by Ms. Salma Moosa, Founder & President of Twelve 77 Ventures and a renowned Growth Execution Mentor.
Through the session titled “The War Inside the Leader’s Head — Rewiring Guilt, Fear & Pressure”, Ms. Moosa offered a raw and powerful exploration of the emotional battles every entrepreneur and leader faces on their journey.

She invited participants to look inward — to transform guilt into growth, fear into focus, and pressure into purpose. Drawing from her own experiences of failure and resurgence, she emphasized that leadership collapses when emotions are left unmanaged — and that self-awareness is the first strategy every leader must master.

From decoding fear as valuable information, to reframing pressure as a path to purpose, and cultivating emotional fitness through reflection and boundaries, Ms. Moosa guided attendees toward building emotional endurance, authenticity, and clarity — the true pillars of conscious leadership.

The evening concluded with a vibrant Networking High Tea, where participants connected over personal reflections and shared stories of resilience, purpose, and rediscovered clarity.

A session that truly reminded us — leadership begins within.

TiE Mysuru Women Pitchfest 2025

TiE Mysuru hosted the Women Pitchfest 2025 Chapter Finale on October 11, 2025, celebrating women entrepreneurs driving social, technological, and economic impact.

The event began with a welcome address by Mr. Bhaskar Kalale, President of TiE Mysuru. Nine women-led startups pitched their ventures, competing for a ₹2 Lakh prize pool. The jury comprised Mr. Sabareeshan Chittur Kalyanakrishnan (Independent Director, BPL & Panasonic Appliances), Ms. Nandita Sharma (Founder, Ame Organic & Zaivic Tech Wellness Solutions), and Dr. Rajeshwar Matche (Chief Scientist, CSIR-CFTRI Mysuru).

Winner:
Wellness Emporio India Pvt. Ltd., led by Ms. Harsha Tomar, won the top prize for Viva Mama—an AI-powered postpartum and infant-care platform using the 4C Model (Check-in, Counselor, Content, Community). The team received ₹1 Lakh, a trophy, and certificate, and will represent TiE Mysuru at the TiE Global Women Pitchfest 2026 in Jaipur.

Runners-up:

Calyirex Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (Nazar – a security tech platform enhancing law enforcement and public safety).

Samparkisu Pvt. Ltd. (interactive Indian language learning through live classes and screen-free tools).
Each received ₹50,000, a trophy, and certificate.

The jury shared valuable feedback, and mentors were acknowledged for their support. Prizes were presented by Mr. Kalale and the jury members. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Prajakta, anchored by Ms. Vidya Patel, Co-Chair of the TiE Women Program 2025.

TiE Mysuru remains committed to empowering women entrepreneurs through mentorship, education, incubation, and funding initiatives that strengthen the regional startup ecosystem.

TiE Mysuru Leadership Series: Igniting 10X Leadership in the Age of AI

The session began with a welcome address by Bhaskar Kalale, President of TiE Mysuru, who also shared plans for the chapter ahead. Updates on the TiE University Pitch Fest and its promising entries were revealed.

As part of the TiE Mysuru Leadership Series, Lt. Gen. Arjun Ray, PVSM, VSM (Retd.), Founder MD & CEO of Indus Trust, delivered an insightful keynote on “Building 10X Leadership.” The session explored the intersection of entrepreneurship and leadership in an era defined by AI, complexity, and rapid change—highlighting that “the real startup is yourself.”

Members were introduced to the StartupYou framework—a powerful guide to continuous personal reinvention with principles. These were complemented by six entrepreneurial behaviors essential for 10X Leadership: Vision, Agency, Bias in Action, Empathy, Extreme Ownership, and Adaptability.

The keynote urged entrepreneurs to pursue moonshot thinking, leverage technology as mindset, and scale not just startups—but scalable entrepreneurial mindsets in individuals. The Q&A session with Lt. Gen. Ray engaged charter, associate, and student members in thought-provoking discussions—reinforcing TiE Mysuru’s commitment to nurturing leadership for the future.

Followed by a sneak peek into a major upcoming initiative—NeXt Founder (formerly Campus to CEO)—presented by Ram Kevalur. Charter Member M Ashwin Dange then outlined the Marketing & PR vision for TiE Mysuru.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Kishan G S, Associate Member, TiE Mysuru. The entire event was seamlessly emceed by Adarsh Ramesh, Associate Member TiE Mysuru.

As part of the TiE Mysuru Founder Series, the Fireside Chat held on Saturday, 28th June 2025 at Hotel Le Ruchi The Prince brought together two dynamic second-generation entrepreneurs for a deeply engaging and honest exchange on leadership, legacy, and growth. The event featured Mr. Sumukh Narendra, Director of Vinyas Innovative Technologies, and Mr. Ashwin Dange M, Business Head, GRS Fantasy Park and Director, Baliga Investments Pvt. Ltd., in conversation with moderator Dr. M. Dharma Prasad, CEO and Chief Scientist of Prosetta Bioconformatics Pvt. Ltd. and Founder Director of Funpluslearn Solutions.

The discussion explored what it truly means to lead businesses in today’s world—touching on personal and professional boundaries, evolving leadership styles, navigating uncertain times, and the emotional aspects of carrying forward a legacy. Mr. Sumukh shared insights on the importance of staying grounded through clarity and values, while Mr. Ashwin walked the audience through his journey of transitioning industries, managing teams through crises like COVID, and bouncing back with record-breaking momentum. Their reflections highlighted how scaling a business requires more than strategy—it takes resilience, self-awareness, and a clear sense of purpose.

The session ended with a great Q&A session and networking high tea.
