TiE Global, founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley, is the world’s largest non-profit organization supporting entrepreneurship. With a mission to foster entrepreneurship through its five core pillars—mentoring, networking, education, funding, and incubation—TiE connects the entire entrepreneurial ecosystem, including early-stage and serial entrepreneurs, professionals, investors, and thought leaders. With 60+ chapters across 12 countries and 12,000+ members (including 3,500+ Charter Members), TiE empowers entrepreneurs through flagship initiatives like TiEcon, TiE Women, TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE), and various sector-focused programs and forums. About TiE Mysuru
Established in 2019, TiE Mysuru is a nonprofit organization committed to fostering entrepreneurship in the Mysuru region. By providing hands-on mentorship, networking opportunities, and educational programs, TiE Mysuru equips entrepreneurs to build successful, sustainable companies at every stage of business growth. The chapter hosts signature events such as monthly knowledge sessions and networking events, TiECon Mysuru, TiE Annual Awards to recognize the contributions of entrepreneurs to the ecosystem, TiE University (TIE-U) Program to promote student entrepreneurship, and TiE Women Program to promote women entrepreneurship.

Strategic Objectives
Foster a Robust Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Mysuru
o Empower entrepreneurs in Mysuru by focusing on sectors that promote the city’s cultural heritage, such as local handicrafts, traditional industries, food processing, sustainable agriculture, and cultural tourism.
o Provide infrastructure, mentorship, and financial support to young entrepreneurs across sectors such as IT, non-tech, including non-disruptive start-ups to foster inclusive economic development.
Support the Ideation-to-Launch Journey of Entrepreneurs
o Offer comprehensive support to entrepreneurs, guiding them from the early stages of ideation to business launch through mentorship, training, and access to a network of resources.
o Create collaborations with organizations such as STEP, KDEM, and eCirkle to provide entrepreneurs with valuable tools, funding options, and business networks.
Provide Foundational Knowledge for First-Time Entrepreneurs
o Develop educational programs and workshops tailored to first-time entrepreneurs covering key topics like accounting and finance, fundraising and cap tables, digital marketing, IP protection, and early-stage valuation.
o Create a network of experienced professionals (accountants, legal advisors, marketers, etc.) who can support entrepreneurs with vital services during the early phases of business development.
Build and Support the Mysuru Cultural Angel Fund
o Establish the Mysuru Cultural Angel Fund in collaboration with key partners like STEP, KDEM, and eCirkle, to create a sustainable model for local entrepreneurs that preserves Mysuru’s cultural legacy while promoting economic growth. This fund will help nurture startups that align with Mysuru’s unique identity, contributing to both local economic prosperity and cultural preservation.
o Engage with Mysuru’s HNIs (High Net-Worth Individuals) to encourage investment in local start-ups, strengthening the regional entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Identify and Showcase Micro Businesses
o Identify and highlight local micro-businesses that have the potential to scale while remaining true to Mysuru as the base. Support these businesses with guidance, mentorship, and exposure to investment opportunities.
o Organize events and digital platforms to promote these businesses, increasing their visibility among potential investors, partners, and customers.
Enhance Institutional Engagement
o Strengthen collaboration with local institutions, including universities, corporates, and educational organizations, to increase knowledge sharing, mentorship, and collaboration opportunities for entrepreneurs
